Provisioning at 東京 HND-1

Step 02 is verifying the address and enrolling a second factor. Both take about a minute, and the console is usable in between — what opens and when is set out below.

Step 02

What happens after the button.

Four rungs, none of them a sales call. The console is usable from the first one.

  1. Verify the address

A link to the address you gave, valid for sixty minutes. The console is already usable; this is what unlocks deploying.

    ~1 min

  2. Enrol a second factor

TOTP, a passkey, or your identity provider. Required before a payment method can be added, not after.

    ~1 min

  3. Add a payment method

Nothing is charged until something is running. The first hour of the first instance is the whole hold.

    ~2 min

  4. The first server

Median deployment is 38 seconds. Destroy it after an hour and it costs an hour.

    38 s

What Opens, And When

The account earns its capabilities.

A new account can read, ticket and render twenty images. Verifying the address and putting a card on file each open a further set. Nothing is gated behind a conversation.

Verification is a six-digit code to the address on the form and costs nothing. Adding a payment method does not charge it: there is no authorisation hold, no setup fee, no deposit and no minimum term at any stage. Port 25 is the one row we say no to often, and the reason is that a network that leaks spam is a network whose addresses stop delivering for everyone on it.

Harbours

Six harbours, and what each one costs.

The harbour you choose now is only a default — an account can run instances at all six. It does decide where the first one lands and whose data-protection regime it sits under.
